Protection foils
Protection foils
Protective films made from PET, PVC, or PO (polyolefin) with UV- or heat-curable adhesive systems are designed for temporary surface protection and secure fixation during sensitive industrial processes. Once cured by UV light or heat, the adhesive provides strong and can be removed cleanly and without residue after processing.
Typical Application Areas
-
Electronics Manufacturing: These films are widely used during wafer handling, semiconductor processing, and PCB manufacturing to protect delicate surfaces and structures during assembly, testing, or transportation.
-
IC/LED/Chip Packaging: In die attachment and dicing processes, UV-curable protective films secure the chips or LEDs, preventing movement or damage during high-precision cutting and handling operations.
-
Cutting, Milling, and Laser Processing: The films provide mechanical support to thin or fragile substrates, reduce material shifting, and protect edges from chipping, dust, or contamination during fabrication.
-
General Industrial Applications: They are also used in display panel production, glass coating, film lamination, and automotive interior manufacturing where clean removal and surface protection are essential during intermediate stages.
