Hot melt tapes

Hot melt tapes

Hotmelt films and laminates are thermoplastic adhesive layers that activate under heat to create strong, clean, and solvent-free bonds. They offer high adhesion strength, excellent environmental resistance, and precise application—making them ideal for automated manufacturing processes.

Typical Application Areas

  • Cable Industry: In high-speed copper data cables—such as those used for AI and data center applications—hotmelt films are used to secure shielding materials, bond layers, and reinforce mechanical structure. They enable reliable, thin, and stable lamination without the need for additional adhesive application.

  • Electronics & Microelectronics: Hotmelt laminates are applied in the assembly of flexible printed circuits (FPCs), modules, and sensors, providing precise positioning and strong bonding with minimal material thickness, even between heat-sensitive layers.

  • Automotive and Aerospace Industries: Used for bonding lightweight materials, interior trims, shielding, and acoustic components, hotmelt films offer vibration resistance, durability, and weight savings.

  • Textile and Packaging Industries: Hotmelt films are employed for laminating fabrics, labels, or technical films, enabling clean, uniform bonding without sewing or liquid adhesives.
